H.A.V , Heyman Ateljé & Verkstad is us, Charlotte and Tomas Heyman.
Sometimes it is hard to explain to people what we actually do for a living. One day it can be building a miniature world for a museum, another day it can be technical consulting for a huge stage performance that is going on tour. Or making light design or sets for a theatre, or animating a short film. Maybe it is because we are artists at heart and we love to tell a story. Maybe it is because we are makers and just love to solve problems and make stuff.
We are based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Charlotte
Charlote is an illustrator, animator and prop maker. She works in various techniques, with stop motion, 3d and hand drawn animation and mixed media illustration and loves to explore different materials. Charlotte has a background as a game artist and has worked on several titles as an animator, graphic artist and art director. She has made short animated films that has been screened on festivals across Europe. From the love of stop motion developed the interest of designing things in different materials and she has made props for puppet theatre and film and and miniature sets for exhibitions.
Tomas
Tomas has many years of experience as a light designer and stage technician. He studied scenography and dance and for him the composition and art goes into everything he does. With a technical expertise when it comes to everything on stage and a keen eye and love of art he can make anything happen. From building a complex set to making that magic scenography.
